John ""Jack"" Waldron

Obituary

John Andrew (Jack) Woodson Waldron, 22, son of John and Anita Waldron, passed quietly at his parent’s home on November 17, 2019.

He was born in Muscle Shoals, AL; lived in Walhalla, SC for 12-years, and spent the last 8-years in Mobile, AL.

He was a joy to those that he encountered, was an individual at heart, made it a point to always have a joke handy, and thought of others’ happiness above his own. He brought a level of personality to all that he did through his wit and his intelligence.

Jack was a 2015 graduate of St. Luke’s High School, attended Auburn University Montgomery and the University of South Alabama. He was a member of the Springhill Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Col. Edward & Phyllis Waldron II of TX.

He is survived by his adoring parents, John and Anita Waldron; his older sisters, Alison Waldron and Ashley (Michael) Minton; his girlfriend, Gretchen Hall; his maternal grandparents, Bruce and Juanita Payne; his maternal aunt and uncle, Debbie and Steve Stephens; his paternal uncles and aunt, Stuart (Carole) Waldron, Edward (Patty) Waldron III, and Patti (Wayne) Waldron; his maternal cousins, Jonathon (Lauren) Stephens and Kristin (Joey) Hanie; his second cousins, Evan, Kaelynn and Rhett; and his paternal cousins, Rachel Waldron, Cole Waldron, Alicia Waldron, and Jennifer Bowman-Potter.

Visitation will be held on Saturday November 23, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.at Dayspring Baptist Church at 2200 Cody Road in West Mobile. A short Memorial Service will immediately follow.
