John Andrew (Jack) Woodson Waldron, 22, son of John and Anita Waldron, passed quietly at his parents' home on November 17, 2019.
He was born in Muscle Shoals, AL; lived in Walhalla, SC for 12-years, and spent the last 8-years in Mobile, AL.
He was a joy to those that he encountered, was an individual at heart, made it a point to always have a joke handy, and thought of others’ happiness above his own. He brought a level of personality to all that he did through his wit and his intelligence.
Jack was a 2015 graduate of St. Luke’s High School, attended Auburn University Montgomery and the University of South Alabama. He was a member of the Springhill Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Col. Edward & Phyllis Waldron II of TX.
He is survived by his adoring parents, John and Anita Waldron; his older sisters, Alison Waldron and Ashley (Michael) Minton; his girlfriend, Gretchen Hall; his maternal grandparents, Bruce and Juanita Payne; his maternal aunt and uncle, Debbie and Steve Stephens; his paternal uncles and aunt, Stuart (Carole) Waldron, Edward (Patty) Waldron III, and Patti (Wayne) Waldron; his maternal cousins, Jonathon (Lauren) Stephens and Kristin (Joey) Hanie; his second cousins, Evan, Kaelynn and Rhett; and his paternal cousins, Rachel Waldron, Cole Waldron, Alicia Waldron, and Jennifer Bowman-Potter.
Visitation will be held on Saturday November 23, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.at Dayspring Baptist Church at 2200 Cody Road in West Mobile. A short Memorial Service will immediately follow.
