Trevon Monyeh Demetrius Hicks (Pook), 24, a resident of Wilmer, Alabama, departed this life on Wednesday, 18 August 2021.
Trevon was born 02 May 1997, in Mobile, AL to Byron Demetrius Hicks and Amanda Goodwin. He graduated from Mary G. Montgomery in 2016. After graduating high school, he joined the United States Army, where he served two years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Byron Demetrius Hicks, brother, Dayond LaZerrick Thomas; maternal great-grandparents, Dan and Dinah Taldon; paternal great-grandparents; Tom and Bonnie Hicks; and uncle;
Karl Dewayne Hicks.
His beautiful life will forever be cherish to his devoted mother, Amanda (Norville) Goodwin of Mobile, AL; three devoted brothers; DeAirus Thomas, Antonio Thomas of Mobile, AL; and Isaiah Craig of New Orleans East, Louisiana; three devoted sister, Demetria Hicks and Daesha Hicks of Mobile, AL and Ty Brittany Craig; devoted maternal grandparents, Diana Sylvester of Wilmer, AL; Elmer (Allen Ruth) Lang of McIntosh, AL; devoted paternal grandparents; Wille Hicks and Rose Hicks of Mobile, AL; four aunts, two devoted aunts; Alicia (Monroe) Baskins of San Antonio, TX and Landy (Brittany) Reed of Mobile, AL; Jennifer Lang of Chatom, AL and Kimberly Lang of McIntosh, AL; three uncles, one devoted; Heritio (Glenda) Thomas of Norfolk, VA; Patrick (Bonita) Adams Sr., of Satsuma, AL; and Gabriel Lang of McIntosh, AL; five devoted cousins, Ji’Quisa Thomas, Ja’Quile Thomas Wilson, Brad Watts Jr., Alvin Dinkins Jr., and Brad Thomas; a
host of devoted niece, nephews, other aunts, uncles, relatives and friend.
A public viewing will be held Saturday, August 28, 2021, from 9am until the 11am Homegoing “Celebration Of Life” Service at the Power Of Faith Deliverance Church, 569 Cody Road, Mobile, Alabama.
Interment will follow in Vaughan Cemetery located in McIntosh, Alabama.
