Obituary for Roosevelt Rease
Roosevelt Duke Rease born February 16, 1936 in Mobile, Alabama to the union of the late Bennie Rease and Jessie M. Jenkins. On Sunday, January 16, 2022, God assured his job well done and whispered softly, “Follow Me.”
Roosevelt was employed at Ingalls Shipbuilding, Mobile Housing Board and also worked as a Merchant Marine. He spent his time after retiring hunting. A very family oriented assuring us all that he would be ready... to heaven he flew away.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Regina Haney; and one brother, Bennie Rease, Jr.
The memory of Roosevelt’s life will forever be cherished by his devoted wife, Diann Rease of Peterman, AL; five sons: Roosevelt (Jaquese) Rease of Mobile, AL, Dellarrion (Sybil) Mosley of Mobile, AL, Myron (Ashley) Mosley of Daphne, AL, Delmico (Precious) Williams of Chesepeake, VA and one devoted, Raimundo (Staci) Rease of Mobile, AL; four daughters: Vanessa (James) Bailey of Mobile, AL, Marketta Demple of Mobile, AL,
Rhonda Rease of Mobile, AL and Star (Chris) Hye of Mobile, AL; two brothers: Earl Rease and Willie Rease both of Toledo, OH; five sisters: Alberta Golden and Mary Wimburly both of Mobile, AL, Sandra (Larry) Willis of Toledo, OH, Fannie Rease and Rosemary Tucker both of Toledo, OH; thirty-three grandchildren, one devoted, Diante Young; a host of great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, one devoted, Buster Henderson and friends; two devoted friends: F.C. Cright and John Allen Price; neighbors, one devoted, Mrs. Ruth Woodard.

His remains will lie in state on Friday, January 21, 2022, from 12noon until 4:00pm at Gulf Coast Cremation and Funerals by Small’s, 7000 Bellingrath Road, Theodore, AL.
The “Celebration Of Life" Service will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 11am at Gulf Coast Cremation and Funerals by Small’s, in the “Chapel Of Remembrance”, located at 7000 Bellingrath Road, Theodore, AL.
