Obituary for Maude McCants
Mrs. Maude Pope McCants was called home to our Lord on Thursday, December 1, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by Husband Roosevelt McCants, Daughter Julie Ann McCants, Mother Catherine Bullock Pope, and Father Felix Pope. Sisters Frances Pope Pringle, Vivian Pope, Margaret Pope, Shirley Ann Brown, Patricia Brown, Brothers Felix Pope, Glenn Pope.
She leaves to cherish her memory, Three daughters Donna Pope Debruce, April McCants (AJ), and Sylvia Fantroy. Six grandchildren Krystal McCants, Kassie Crockett, Reagan Elizabeth McCants, Jimiea Debruce, Milani Fantroy, and Roydrick Fantroy. Eight great-grandchildren, Skylar Jennings, Taylor Johnson, McKinsley Brown, Louis McMillian, Katelyn McMillian, Hailey Crocket, Jamar Crockett, and Ivy Crocket. Three sisters Rose Marie Moffett, Brenda Pope, Cathy (Mack) Graham, Michell (Albert) Morgan. One brother, John (Denise) Brown. A loving niece Denise (Jarvis) Tunstall. A Devoted friend Bernadette Johnson, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. until the 5:00 p.m. at Gulf Coast Cremation and Funerals. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, 12:00 noon at Stewart Memorial CME Church, Pastor Marvin Charles Lue, Jr. officiating. 1266 Dr. Martin L King Jr. Avenue, Mobile, AL 36603.
