Mary A. Whitfield:
Was born on November 16,1953 to the union of Willie and Mary L. Whitfield in Jackson, Mississippi. As a young child, she later moved to Theodore Alabama with family where she resided until her departing Day. Growing up Mary had a true passion for hair. When Mary got older, her passion flourished and she became a well-known hair Beautician winning awards for her hair styling abilities.
Mary A. Whitfield departed this life on Tuesday, December 21,2021. Mary is preceded in death by her mother and father Willie and Mary Whitfield as our heavenly Father let her through the gates to be greeted by her mother and father.
She leaves here on earth to cherish her beloved memories of four children, Leonard Whitfield II, Tina Whitfield, James Malone III (Melinda P), and Diana Whitfield Denton.
Ten devoted Grandchildren, Leonard Devon, Keiuna Dotson, Sheniqia and Myra Whitfield, Asia Whitfield, Raven Malone, McKensie Malone, Tony Hardy, Johnneka Bell, Montazia Whitfield, Tajah Jackson and host of nieces, nephews, and Great Grandchildren
Her remains will lie in state on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, from 11am until the 1pm funeral hour at First United Methodist Church, 5452 Washington Blvd., Theodore, Alabama
