Obituary for Jack Rutherford
Jack Rutherford Sr made his transition Saturday afternoon November 26 with his loving wife Paula by his side.
Preceding him in death are his father Wilfred Rutherford, his mother Ruby Mathis, his sister Winnifred Kerr, his brother Andrew, and his son Wilfred Rutherford II. He is survived by his wife Paula, his daughter Lorrie Drennan, his son Jack Rutherford Jr, his daughter Natasha Rutherford, his brothers Jim Rutherford and Ronnie Rutherford, 7 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
Jack was always on a quest to learn, which helped secure him a place with NASA in the Gemini and Apollo programs, and then led him to change careers and become a technical writer for defense systems – where he excelled.
He was a kind and generous man, and all those that knew him will greatly miss him.
