Obituary for Eddie Alston

Brother Eddie “Ed” Alston Sr, was born in Marengo County Alabama on May 2, 1938. He was a long time resident of Theodore Alabama. He was a member of Mount Ararat Baptist church where he confessed Christ at an early age, and was a member of the Male Choir. Eddie dedicated some of his time to the community by
coaching Baseball. Brother Alston at the age 85 passed away on December 17, 2023. At home surrounded by loved ones.
Brother Alston was preceded in death by both his parents Peter Sr. and Louis Martha Alston. His loving wife Rebecca “Hess” Alston, Son Ronnie Alston and son-in-law James Morris, and his siblings Arthur Lee Alston, Dorothy Newson Hill, Inez White, Loubornia Alston, Robert Alston, Clearthur Alston, Lloyd Alston.
He leaves memories and knowledge of the Lord to his children Eddie (Cheryl) Alston, Issac (Gina) Alston
Shirley Morris, Terry Alston, Linda (Billy) Linfield, Lyneal(Juanita) Alston, Shannon(Irven) Infram, One sister Eva Carson and one brother peter Alston Jr. Twenty-four grandchildren: Arnetra, Lemaris, Demaris, Desious, Shandi, Deray, Shenice, Jasmine, Joshua, Becky, Chelsye, Kortnee, Shantera, Tahja, Taylor,Dazon, Kameron, Darius, Jalen, Miles, Jordon, Jamrius, and Kristian, Great Grandchildren: Temaris, Temaya, Trent, Lemaris Jr., Jayel, Logan, Ashton, Daylen, Lindsey, Justin Jr, Kaylee, Kali, Reese, Jayon, Jhyra, Jolee,Alston, Israel,Jakell,Levi,Mia. Three sister-in-laws: Willie Lee Alston, Rosemary Nelson, Adlean(Robert) Sheffield. One Brother-in-law: Issac Nelson.

He also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews and a devoted friend Mazie Cobb. Ed gave love, happiness ,and a little fussing to each life he touched. His legacy shall live on through family and friends forever.
