Obituary for Darryl Carter

A Time To Be Born
Darryl Carter, A native and lifelong resident of Grand Bay, AL was born on November 7, 1962 to the late James and Martha Allen. He exchanged life for eternity on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at a local hospital. He was 57 years.

A Time To Serve
Darryl accepted Christ at an early age, attending Little Rock A.M.E Zion Church. He graduated from Mobile County High School. He was employed by Joe Peyton Sandblasting and painting for many years. His main hobbies was fishing and spending time with his grand children. He will definitely be missed throughout the Fernland community and remembered by one of his famous quotes “Love me or Leave me Baby”.

A Time To Remember
Darryl was preceded in death by his parents: James and Martha Allen.
He leaves behind to cherish his precious memories, three devoted children: Terrence (Shadarrica) Rogers, Sharniquia Carter, and Nicholas Rogers, all of Grand Bay, AL. ; one devoted brother: Rev. Samuel Carter, Mobile, AL; five loving and devoted grand children: Rihanna Carter, Jordan Barnes, McKenzie Rogers, Riley Carter, and Reign Carter; one devoted friend: James Curtis Peyton; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends

His remains will lie in state on Friday, October 16, 2020 from 3pm until 5pm at Gulf Coast Cremation and Funerals.

The “Celebration Of Life” graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 11am, Fernland Cemetery in Grand Bay, Alabama.
