Obituary for Beverly Robbins

Beverly Ann Robbins, a resident of Bayou La Batre, AL was born November 21, 1959 as the 5th child of Aubrey and Gertrude Robbins in Moss Point, MS.

She transitioned to sing in the Heavenly Choir Monday, April 4, 2022 at Providence Hospital in Mobile, AL.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Aubrey and Gertrude Robbins; three brothers: Johnnie Smith, Sr., Aubrey Robbins, Jr. and Michael James Robbins; and one nephew, Frederick Smith.

Beverly leaves her cherished memories and love to her three children: two sons: Michael Robbins of Bayou La Batre, AL and Corey (Katrina) West and six children of Panama City, FL; and a loving and devoted daughter, Plashette Robbins of Accomack, VA; three sisters: Annie Anderson of Salisbury, MD, Babara (Lebaron) Robbins-Carter of Bayou La Batre, AL and Patricia Renee' (Noel) Robbins-Bilbo of Pascagoula, MS; one brother, Tony (Phyllis) Robbins of St. Elmo, AL; three grandchildren: Brianna Seymone
Robbins, Brandon Pierre (BJ) Green and Braniyah LeeAnn Green; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Her remains will lie in state on Friday, April 22, 2022, from 12noon until 5pm at Gulf Coast Cremation and Funerals by Small’s, 7000 Bellingrath Road, Theodore, AL.

A public viewing will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 9:30am until the 11:30am “Homegoing Celebration” at Freewater Missionary Baptist Church, 11470 Irvington Bayou La Batre Hwy, Irvington, AL.
