Betty Nelson was born on May 18, 1949 and departed this life for her eternal home on Saturday, September 12, 2020.
Betty was a member of Mt. Ararat Missionary Baptist Church.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories her husband: Solomon Nelson, Jr; children: Cheryl (Angelo) Powell and Solomon (Erica) Nelson, III; grandchildren: Angela Clemmons, Ladarius Nelson, Dominique Nelson, Brea Nelson, Angelo Powell Jr., Eric Nelson, and Alexandra Powell; great-grandchildren: Jameria Minter and Jadarius Nelson; devoted nephew: Elbert Clemons; a host of other close family members and friends.
Her remains will lie in state on Friday, September 18, 2020 from 1pm until 5pm. in Gulf Coast “Chapel Of Remembrance”, located at 7000 Bellingrath Road, Theodore, Alabama.
A graveside "Celebration Of Life" Service followed by Interment will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2020 beginning at 10am in Lawn Haven Cemetery, located in Theodore, Alabama.
