Bertha Mae Moore
October 4, 1935 - January 30, 2022
Affectionately known as “Bay”

On January 30, 2022, the Lord spoke:
“Bertha, you fought a good fight, you have kept the faith,
The battle is fought and the victory is won;
Come now and take your rest.”

Bertha Mae Moore, a native of Camden, Alabama and a
resident of Theodore, Alabama was born October 4, 1935 to the
union of Charlie and Delia Wilson. She departed this life Sunday,
January 30, 2022.

Bay accepted Christ as the Lord of her life, and was a member of
First United Methodist Church of Theodore, Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Delia
Wilson; her husband, Tom Moore; brother, Charlie Wilson; and
her sister, Carolyn Wilson.

Bertha leaves to cherish her precious memories, two sons: Willie
Mendenhall of Theodore, AL and Dramayne (Zsequese) Williams
of Mobile, AL; one granddaughter, Dramaica Williams of Mobile,
AL; three great-grandchildren: D’Kingston Williams, D’Kodie
Williams and D’Khali Williams all of Mobile, AL; two step-daughters:
Ernestine Moore and Emma Moore who are originally
from Theodore, AL; seven sisters: Louise Douglas, Ruby Moore,
Annie Perry of Theodore, AL, Fannie Watson, Daisy Wilson and
Rosie Hunter of Camden, AL, and Lucy Wilson of Lansing, MI;
three brothers: Johnny Wilson, James Wilson and Royal (Sheryl)
Wilson of Theodore, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins,
other relatives and friends.

Her remains will lie in state on Thursday, February 3, 2022, from 12noon until 4:30pm at Gulf Coast Cremation and Funerals by Small’s, 7000 Bellingrath Road, Theodore, AL.

A Graveside “Celebration Of Life" Service will be held on Friday, February 4, 2022 at 11am in the Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens Cemetery located in Theodore, AL.
