Obituary for Annie Presley
Annie Pearl Presley, 86, of Las Vegas, NV, was welcomed by a chorus of angelic singers in eternal glory on May 20, 2021.
Motherdear, also affectionately known as “Nanny,'' was the first born to Ed and Ella Mae West on July 29,1934 in Waynesboro, MS. She attended St. Mary’s Missionary Baptist Church in Milwaukee, WI where she was a faithful member of the choir and frequent lead singer. She was employed at Briggs and Stratton for over twenty-five years.
She leaves to cherish her memories a loving family and a host of friends.
Her joys were cooking in abundance and over filling your plate, finding a good bargain, watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, and being the best tenor on either side of the Mississippi.
A public viewing will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021, 9am until the 11am “Celebration of Life” Service at Sweet Bethel Baptist Church, 8555 Sweet Bethel Drive West, Coden, AL.
Interment will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Bayou LaBatre, AL.
